Have a little bit of a problem...step in.
As some of you know I've been having a starting issue for about 3 weeks. Car has been sitting for that time. Yesterday a friend and I installed a new flywheel because the teeth on my old one were kind of worn. This didn't do a thing. This morning I took a BUS (I hate buses) to Autozone in a different frekkin bourough to get a starter. Installed the starter, and same thing is happening. So I decide to change the spark plugs with some one step colder NGKs and as I go to tighten the last bolt on one of the coil packs, it snaps. The only way to get to the snapped bolt was if I took my 00VI off. After I took it off I realized it was shiny inside the UIM and LIM. It's frekkin oil. I assume this is VERY bad and probably my starting issue. The engine doesn't even have 60k miles on it and it's in the car for less than 6 months. If it turns out that I'm going to need a new motor, the car is going to be sold and I'm going to try to move on to something bigger and better. Please help me out with this. Tell me what you guys think.
If it means anything, I have a DE-K from a 2000.

How much oil is it? just change ur pcv valve (mayb stuck) it mayb letting through ex-s oil into you manifold, BTW IMO I don't think u'll need a new motor if you got oil going into ur cylinder ur prob gonna b blowing black/white smoke out your exhaust. good luk

have you checked your ignition switch?can you hear your fuel pump coming on? does it crank at all?have you checked your grounds> did you connect the sensor that reads off the flywheel back? if i were you id clean the surface where the starter goes to the bell housing and make a ground cable from there to the body. or subframe. get back to us and let us know
