If was you i'd look for the same headlights but with the bumper light combo for almost around the same price... after shipping and all, better deal i think..

Cattman is pretty good, so is budget depends on how much u willing to spend. cuz i think the cattman is alil more, if i'm not mistaken.

There is one of each used in the classifieds section right now $90 for a rusty budget is a damn good deal, almost as good of a deal as my install The cattman one the guy is asking $250 for, which is absolutely absurd if you ask me, I'm sure he would come down though possibly.

full exhaust does very little improvement

the y pipe is the best bang for your buck.. if i was going to upgrade my exhaust on a na 3.0 all i would do is the y pipe

y pipe=250 bucks for 15-20whp
catback=500 bucks for 5 whp if your lucky

BS

where the world did u come up with that number? you'll prob get that if u match it up w/ headers.

you'll most likely get around 10hp w/ just a ypipe.

It is common knowledge to get 15 WHP with a y-pipe. Check dynos around the forum

From what I heard it is around 15, and only a tad more with headers, which is why headers are not really worth it unless your trying to squeeze everything out.....Can't wait for my Y-pipe

well the dyno on motorvate is paired up w/ an intake. it never did just a stock y-pipe vs aftermarket y dyno.

· How much power will the Y-pipe make?
The Y-pipe by itself will make about 5-10hp at the wheels. To get the most out of the y-pipe, you REALLY do want to get a highflow intake of some sort. Whereas the intake will make about 3-5hp by itself and the y-pipe 5-10hp, the combination has been dyno'd to produce 20hp at the wheels.

not tryin to start an old argument. just stating what i saw

yes it was paired with an intake... before and after both had an intake on it

most ppl have an intake that are willing to put headers on their car tho

also, 10whp for 250 bucks is more then you will see from the catback or headers on our cars seing as the y pipe is the most restriced flow due to the 2 pre cats

What makes the Cattman better than the Budget? In refrance to the Y-Pipe.

Well if you are a 99 California Spec like myself, there is no real point in putting on a y-pipe...you will only gain 1/2 the hp because you are only killing one precat. People need to realize that with the 99 Cali-spec (ONLY the 99s not 95-98) they have a precat in the front manifold as well as the y-pipe, so you would need to get a new front manifold plus the y-pipe to eliminate both the precats...which I will be doing in the next week or so.

Better design, better material (unless you get budgets SS), BETTER QUALITY AND PERFECT FITMENT! If you can afford Cattman, go for it. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Budget is $200 and Cattman is $380.
