code 180, fuel temp???

code 180, fuel temp???
my check engine light just went on. code 180, which is the fuel temperature sensor. what and where is that?
my car has had starting problems recently and i just replaced the fuel pump, any relation?

It is on the fuel pump housing, maybe you forgot to connect the connector, there are 2 one is for the fuel pump and the other is the fuel temp sensor.

is the sensor on the fuel pump itself?
you mean the 2 outer connectors?
the only 1 i saw was the one with two wires that went to the fuel pump
