I've donated close to $150 to another forum I frequent because it's a community that's helpful with a positive attitude. I don't get it. If you don't have the answer to a question, why would you post in a thread?

Hell, you guys should just delete all threads asking any kind of question, and just tell the person to either search, donate, or shut the hell up. That's definitely beneficial to the forum.

Because it provides helpful information. Not everything is only for paying members, only OT and the search function.

Google search seems to work just fine for me, so who knows. PEBKAC? If you've donated $150 to another forum, what's $20?

We post in threads because we give people information. For example, obviously you didn't know that there was a way to get search on the forum and NmexMAX gave you that info.

If you delete all threads that ask a question (which would be roughly 95% of forum content)...then how would one get an answer when they search?
