I got HIT

Woman on her cell phone, ran a red light and slammed me today, this sucks. Body shop thinks the insurance company is going to total it. Worst day ever.

Did the side airbags come out? if so for sure totaled.
if not probably still totaled, given you are looking at repairing a rear quarter panel, two doors, if the center beam in between doors is damaged that will really tip it over.
What exactly is damaged?

Man, that really sucks. No wonder why they're coming with this new regulation where cell phones in cars will be banned unless you use a headset, in the province of Quebec (eastern Canada).

Getting back to your damaged Max, tell us how it went with the insurance claim.

How many miles?

actually, i was the first EMT on the scene, i was heading to an ambulance company to apply. I meet with the adjuster today, the body shop thinks its just body work, no airbags deployed and i have less than 100k so i think that i might get to keep it from being totaled. thanks for the support.

How can you guys say frame/structual damage? looks like 2 doors (maybe just 1 new door), rr 1/4 panel (reasonable qoute) $1500 max., not equal to cars resale value= not totaled.

rr 1/4 panal= frame damage, also the quote will not be based on where you take the car, because where they take it will be super pricey! 99 with low milage, maybe they wont total it out. GL

From the angle of the pics, it's hard to tell if there was any major frame damage.

If not, then the repairs should be around 1-2k.
