5spd swap

hey guys i have everything from a 5spd car. if i wanted to swap trannys with an automatic is everything just bolt on or is modifications needed?

thanks alot.

(im wondering cause i totalled my 5spd but i dont want to leave you guys. its so much easier to find an auto for sale)

i searched and cant really find anything. this was just a simple yes/no question. if its been covered 1.23 million times could you point me to a write up or something. i dont understand why this isnt stickied since so many people are always interested in this.

take **** off...drill holes for master cylinder...put new **** on....bypass park/neutral switch...bolt everything on...start it up....

you know...just like a 5 speed swap for every car invented that comes 5 speed.

in a nutshell...if you dont have a general idea on how to do a 5 speed swap, i wouldn't.

well the trans bellhousing is the same auto or manual. just how it runs and all.
