so how important is it to actually use NGK? Accidentally got other plugs today and i was wondering if they were ok. They ARE platinum. But the brand is Auto Lite... They were 6 bucks each... whaddya think.

I use Bosch Platinums and they seem to work fine. NGK isn't absolutely necessary, but that's what the factory uses.

I had autometer titanium plugs at $5 a piece for 5,000 miles. I just finished putting my NGK R's at $15 a piece in. In all honesty I can't tell a difference.

I prefer the NGK's. I had the Bosch+4 and made my car miss and idle rough. I'm not trying to say other spark plugs are bad I just prefer the NGKs from now on.
