Where to buy AC Compressor, Hardstarts & Stalls

First question where is the best place to get an AC compressor & assembly?

Second, my car occasionally stalls while braking, and bogs down occasionally while driving on the highway. Sometimes it'll start up just fine then die a few moments later other times it'll take a good minute to turn over and it's usually followed by a plume of white smoke.

Before stalling sometimes I can hear the fans turn on high speed, but the car isn't over heating and has plenty of coolant.

I've changed the fuel filter, and adding 3 bottles of fuel injector cleaner actually helped for a good week till I re-fueled.

Any suggestions?

Any CEL's? Give a good tune up. Seems as if the idle is weak anyhow, since it stalls when the fans are coming on. Typically they will make the idle drop for a second or 2, but yours seems to stall when they(fans) come on.

AC compressor can be bought anywhere truthfully. AutoZone/Chacker/Dealer/CourtesyParts/PinnacleNissan/ThePartsBin

I have a few CELs, mainly KS and Neutral position switch, and an 02 sensor, but I''ve had those for a few years now.

Check your grounds. Both battery and sensor ground.

Any sensors in particular that could cause stalling/hard starts?

CPS/CmS. But that's not my point. Point = clean the ground post area on the engine block, next to the LIM.

does anyones a/c compressor make noises. Like...would that be an indication that its on its last leg? I usually dont drive with the A/C on but the other day I did and surprisingly it was coming out really cold but it started making this grinding/ticking noise when revving...so i just cut it off. the noise wasnt there when i turned it off.

Call techchoice A/C parts. They are in Midlothian Tx and even offer an option lifetime warranty. 972.723.0112 I forget the owners name.
