Headers question

I found these OBX headers, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=016
The question is, it appears to have a y-pipe looking piece on it already. So do i only need a cat, b-pipe, and muffler behind it or am i miss-understanding how they are placed in. Since im replacing my whole exhaust setup im kinda confused whether LSS y, b, high flow cat, and magnaflow muffler; or obx headers, lss b, and high flow cat, magnaflow muffler?

Basically the FWD equivalent of LT's, y-pipe comes with them and on the OBXs I believe is attached to the rear manifold permanently, which makes install fun. All you would need with those for a full exhaust is cat, b, and rear section. Honestly there's been virtually no proven gains for headers over just a y-pipe with factory manifolds on the VQ30, I would just go with a y-pipe.

Exhaust sound clip sticky has a lot of different combos in there, it's all personal preference.

K, that being the case, and i hate sounding newbish(i've just never done exhaust), i noticed under sound clips some had a CE ypipe, CE hi-flo cat, Magnaflow Muffler 14827, no bpipe. What do you use between the cat and muffler is you have no b-pipe. Reason i ask is because thats the exact sound im trying to reproduce.

DON'T do it! These OBXs have MAJOR fitment problems... See my thread on this. As they are built, they will NOT go on a 4th gen.

It took a lot of work to cut these up and have an exhaust pro turn them into headers.

Umm, yes you will. Extrude honed stock manifolds showed a gain of a whopping 1 HP. I would be pretty ticked off if I spent all the time/money to have that done just to gain 1 HP. Please don't spread misinformation.

No proof yet. Nobody's done a back-to-back dyno on a VI-equipped 3.0. Even if there WEREN'T any gains, the superior exhaust tone/harmonics are enough for me. Moot point though, since the OBX's A) Don't fit and B) are unequal length.

All I know is the most powerful n/a 3.0 that I know of (DandyMax @ 220+ FWHP) has Cattman headers. He just also happens to be the quickest/fastest as well.

Well all that aside i still dont understand the setup i described above. If theres no b-pipe, do i use the stock b-pipe, i dont get it. Im such a Newb. From my small understanding of exhausts; you have a manifold-headers-ypipe-cat converter-bpipe-muffler, in that order, so if this setup is not using a b-pipe do i just weld a muffler to the cat converter?
Pls dont flame, i know im being alittle stupid here but im trying to learn.

97maximaman, "no b pipe" means they r running the stock b pipe. if you do not have a b pipe the muffler will be under the car almost in the center! haha

Lol, well ye thats what i thought but i just wasnt sure, and since im redoing everything(its alil rusty, dont worry i'll take pics to explain) i didnt want to make a single mistake.
Looks like im ready to call LSS, I'll be doing a y, magnaflow hiflo cat, magnaflow street series muffler. Once its set up ill contribute to the exhaust clips area. My only concern is that the stock b-pipe is also rusted out so im not sure wether to get an LSS b or oem. Im afraid or any ghetto buzz sounds.
