Well there is a fuse but it cuts out all interior lighting. Sounds like the switch contacts might be worn. Theres a little push style switch where the door closes. check that. if not. pop the lense off the light and just pull the bulb out it its bothering you.

yep, door switch is stickin a little, try some electrical spray or wd/40 see if it kicks it off. those switches do go bad, but its rare.

Wait. I didnt get that before.. Is it all the door interior lights?
If so then it the switch garanteed. theres not to many factors involved with that circuit

Im not sure if its stuck. remember the max is an old car. Ive seen some crazy old circuitry in this car. It might be the physical contacts inside the switch are just bent/worn out

Pull it off and check it out,.

I don't think those can go bad unless they've actually been messed with/exposed to hazardous conditions...my car's been daily driven for 10 years and mine look brand new.

rusted door open switches.

i heard of this and replaced the rubber covering with new ones. my old ones were worn and had holes in them. basically pull the switch and spray it with some anti rust spray, and see of that helps, if not then get one working switch and test all 4 doors by replacing the switch...

'99s are different from '96. They use a car body bus. So any door switch would report an ajarred door. Then the in cabin light would be on.

NJ puts down a lot more salt in the winter. So their switch condition is a lot different from non-frozen areas.

Making right hand turn

Flucttuates the blinking to my exhaust or my bass of my music

turns off:
making a left hand turn
or reopen and close door.

how can i disengage the whole damn system like cut a power wire to the main soure?

I kinda had a similar problem. My problem was the screw was loose where the door switches are, so I took a screwdriver and tightened them. The switches were loose giving off the signal that the door was open.

The bulbs on the door panels are also easily accessible.
