Ordering a budget y pipe tomorrow and...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, they were closed by the time i called them so it waits until tomorrow. I was planning on ordering a hiflow cat at the same time. But I thought that I would ask you guys first as to whether or not that would be worth the 150 bucks it costs?
The other part is my resonator and muffler need replacement (took the muffler off today and there was almost no difference in sound levels, oddly enough). I've heard greddy SP2 is the way to go, if so where's a reliable place to order it from?
Thanks a lot,
Tyler
God i can't spell... Sorry

Just stay with the stock cat if its still good.
Once you go with a Y pipe it gets louder. I had kept on the stock B pipe and muffler and it was pretty quiet and yet you still felt the extra power. I then had the Budget B with Magnaflow resonator and I still kept the stock muffler. A little more power and had a nice rumble at idle but still very close to stock noise levels. My muffler looks sh*tty and I needed a bit more volume so I just went to an SP2. Noise level has increased and so too much volume. I'm starting to think of adding a 22" magnaflow resonator already.

When you say noise level has increased too much are we talking like two blocks away loud or just a little louder. See im so confused, im ordering the budget y, and hi flow cat, but keeping stock b. But for muffler i want LOUD, like 1/4 away loud. So im thinking a magnaflow race series, and thats what im bidding on on ebay. Only problem is i've never actually heard one on a max. Anyone have any input?

If you go with your idea with a Magnaflow it will be loud both inside and outside. Also keep in mind your local laws about noise levels.
