Faulty tail lights on body during braking.

Just found out today that the tail lights on the body of the car does not light up during braking. It lights up if say I have the headlights on, but the lights will not get brighter when braking... the tail lights on the trunk works though (both dim and brighter version)

Anybody know what could be wrong?

Thanks for the quick reply. As for checking the bulb, I simply took a look at it and pushed it in and out somewhat... to make sure it was snug in there.

Fuses, not sure how many fuses there are, but I just saw one in the fuse panel next to the steering labeled "tail lamps", which it seems to still be bridged and fine.

Connections though, not sure what connections to check...

The connections I checked were simply the ones I can easily see when I pulled the hard plastic/cloth cover off from the inside of the trunk. I simply pushed all the connections in there.

You took a look at it but did you see if both filaments were intact?

That I did not... I had just assumed that if one blew, the entire bulb would be bad. Guess that isn't the case huh

Thanks, I will have to check that out when there's more light out
