for those with CF hoods

So I ditched the NRG hood pins, sorry eric

I'm thinking of going with the aerolatch's, I've heard good things, but I was wondering if any 4th gen had used them with the curve of our hoods?

and how slow should I go with my no-pin CF hood for now? I'm almost tempted to just not drive it until I get the latches on

I don't think anyone has done the aerolatch's on the org... Be a pioneer and get some, then report back. Myself, and others would like to know as well.

As for speed, I wouldn't go more than 45 mph. Stay on the streets, no highway.

I've gone really, really fast in two maximas without hood pins. I wouldn't worry that much about it.

Got the aerocatch pins today, quality looks good, a little hard to press the button down to make it pop up, but I suppose thats good so the latch doesn't pop up too easily while driving.

I'll install them sometime this week i hope

there's a how-to on how to install these floating around on the web somewhere, i believe it was done on a 240 but i dont remember exactly.
I thought the hoodpins were overkill until somehow one of them was unlatched the other day while I was driving like 60-70 and noticed the hood kinda flopping around on the side. I'm not saying the hood was about to rip right off but if i could choose whether or not to have my hood flopping up.catching wind or not, I'd say no thanks.

I think I'm gonna have a shop install them, they're pretty big, wouldn't feel comfortable cutting that hole in my hood
