Y-pipe, Knock Sensor and other stuff...good weekend.

Hey!!
SO, Monday morning and Im back to being bored at work.
Anyway, this weekend I had access to a shop and really wanted to get some things done. This was my TO DO list:
-Cattman Y-Pipe (Bought used from the org.)
-Magnaflow Catalyctic Conv. (Bought used with the Y-pipe)
-Knock Sensor (Been throwing 0304 (ghost) code for 3 months now. lol)
-Manual Tranny Fluid
-Oil Pressure Sensor (Really slight leak)

Everything was completed within 2 hrs minus this f*cking exhaust. My whole thing is rusted to hell and Im talking from the Y all the way to the muffler. I couldnt do my Y because my Cat was so rusted...I couldnt do one without the other. Prolly gonna sell the stuff I bought and just buy a whole new, Y-Back exhaust.
As far as butt dyno goes, the knock sensor...OMFG!!! What a difference! I was being such a slacker about replacing it and now my car seems to run like new again. Took a whopping 10 minutes, too. Revs up so nice.
I also discovered the I have Eibach springs matched up to worn out, no name, shocks n struts.
My new wish list includes a full exhaust, new shocks n struts.

Who else had some Maxi fun this weekend?

I cut 2 lawns and weeded in front of my house, so no Max fun this weekend. There is a complete exhaust in my garage that's begging to be put on. Just need to find the time.

LOL!! I could not do that and I give you credit for having amazing will power. If I had a full exhaust sitting in front of me...begging to be installed. What kind are you putting on? Headers all the way through or just a catback?

There wasn't a welder and a grinder or cutter of some sorts at that garage? All you have to do is cut the bolts, visegrips with new gaskets clamped in place, and lay two tackwelds down.

I got about 1/50th of my to do list for my car taken care of, I swapped out my supspension (OMG! 175k struts vs 80k texas struts= ) And got about halfway done with swapping out my ligfhts, taking my fender and bumper cover back off again, and got about halfway done making another custom I35 retrofit grill, damn what a pita that was. I also finally got spare tires and suspension on the parts car, lolz, that thing was a LOWrider, now I'm off to fill it up with 2000lb's of scrap metal and hopefully dudes tranny parts arrive today!

Im not skilled in welding. It was just the garage that was available to me and a buddy. Neither of us weld. besides, the exhaust is so rusted, its kinda pointless. You know damn well Im just trying to justify spending $800 for a whole new exhaust setup so...ssshhhh. LMAO!!

Sounds like youre going all out. There is a maxi parts car with tan leather at this garage, too. I think they are towing it to a junk yard in the next week or so. =[

No. Flippin easy. I dunno why people bug out over this issue. This forum had me scared as hell to do it but seriously, long extention, swivel socket n ratchet plus a telescoping magnet....10 minutes.

This weekend did some wiring on a friend's 5.5g, that's about it...only visual difference now is a lot less space in the glovebox.

i got the sp1 from ebay. the guy was moving his shop and needed to get rid of stuff. he gave it to me for $370 shipped, which i thought was a great deal for a brand new system. he may have more, let me know if you need his name.

i also forgot, i've got an sts that should go in while the exhaust is out.
