Trouble

I was driving on the highway and my battery light and brake light came on after driving over loose gravel. When I got home and popped the hood my brake fluid was all gone and my belts were off the pullys and torn. Can I drive my car 5-10 miles to my mecanic or would that not be possible am I even going to be able to get my car started again? Also I noticed that there is a hole in the wheel well above the tire on the right front and on the left front there is a tube coming through a hole exactly the same this is obviously something to do with the brakes but can I drive the car much longer with no fluid and no tube running to the right front brake? Any help is appreciated.

if you have no brake fluid..... you have no brakes.... w/out even factoring in all the issues u may have due to your belt issues, you need brakes in order to drive the car.... it looks like your not gonna b able to drive it.

Yea, if you have a fully charged batt, don't run any accessories, and prefer to stop by downshifting and using the ebrake, or the quicker way is crashing into something.

No. Have it towed.

I should have it towed but I dont want to spend the money Im short on cash right now, is there a way to tell if there is still fulid in the system that will last me the 10 miles? What would happen when the fluid is totally gone do the brakes just not work at all.

Do you know a friend that has AAA? If so have them come over and tell them your car needs to be towed and with your friends card they will tow your car to a shop for free.

Thats what I was told anyways

Brakes operate hydraulically, i.e. fluid pressure. No fluid, no pressure, no brakes.

You said the right front hose is gone?

No hose means that caliper won't work period, and all fluid pressure (if any) will go there, so no brakes at all.

Don't even bother risking it. Then again, if you are even thinking of driving it to a shop, then I'd say Darwin's theory FTW. Try it, if you don't die go ahead and post back here.
