Took it into a shop to run scans before I put money into changing parts.

Seems all they could surmise from the scan was something with the first cylinder firing, but all looked OK.

The problem seems early and intermittent as I guessed and need to wait till things get worse. Could be anything.

Better to have trusted my instincts and just wait and see because now I'm out $100.
