Had some extra time.

I made me some led tails just for fun. They turned out pretty good. Enjoy....................................

haha not bad how long did it take? in the second shot the brake light ones are kinda off but good job... Maybe some red/clear?

the factory uses a yellow reflector that will be comming out soon to replace with leds also. I plan to get better pics soon . All in all it took me about 8 hours to do them all and about 150 leds.

lol I know i baked my tails and took the yellow reflector out and DTMed them.... Not bad though cant wait for more pics

Why in the 1st pic aren't all the lateral leds lit?

Kevlo made some too ... for lots of people really. hehehehe

They look nice mate! What kind of board did you use? Kevlo had his printed (special order) and that made em kinda expensive, but worth it (imo).

just a radio hack prepunched board. I dont havethe fund to have any boards printed i did it all myself.

I dont think thats what made them expensive, I think it was the actual quality of the work and the LEDs used. Not mention the ablity to control their brightness.
Kevlo's are top notch, and after purchasing mine I felt they were $$ too, untill I put them in. Now I feel they were worth every penny.

Can you take a horizontal pic look straight at them, not down at an angle so we can actually see the alignment of the LED rows?

It would be kinda hard now but a good place to look is on www.hidplanet.com/forums register there and they will guide you in anything you would want to do with leds or hids for that matter.
