6 speed on a 4th gen?

6 speed on a 4th gen?
my 5spd is shot, and i need a new one but today i was thinking could i fit a 5th gen 6spd on the 4 gen? if so is there any fabrication required (you would think so) and is it even logical or should i just find myself a regular 5spd 4gen tanny.
also i checked our classifieds and i couldnt find any 5 speeds forsale, i know they pop up every now and then but ive never really paid great attention to them. how much do they usually run price wise about $400-600? (obviously more or less depending on milage and condition)
