SE-R is nice but there were things about the max that i just miss, the way it shifted, the cable throttle body. Of course I wouldn't trade, unless someone wanted to take over my payments but its just an observation.

ewuzh, wait till another month or 2 down the road you'll miss it even more.

It's been about a year now since I sold'r,

Wow...Nmexmax...You make this board fun.

Ewuzh I still cant believe you sold...my car is depressed now that its role model is gone.

Oh, and thats why I havent looked for another car yet...I could sell this one for more than I paid for it to somebody local...

I think i know what u mean. I own a 3.5 Altima which is my baby but today I drove a 99 Maxima at the dealership I work at. Very good quality car. Me thinks the 3.0 is actually slightly smoother than the 3.5.

Lets do this...

We meet up half way somewhere in NY and we trade wheels. I have SE wheels form a 97-99 maxima, and I will trade them to you for your SER wheels....

This way you can always remember your old car...becuase its a part of your new one...

What did you get to replace....

I'm kind of glad I kept my 4G...well I should rephrase...I'm ok with being forced to keep my car since no one wanted it until 2 days before I was supposed to leave for college IN my Maxima. It's comfortable for the highway, gets relatively good gas mileage, etc. Plus it wouldn't even be worth selling, unless I found a nice $500 deal again. I'm driving it kind of soft now that I know the pleasures of a light, RWD car though

Whattya expect me to do? drive home on my rotors? Those rims wouldn't clear my brakes .

I would consider trading them for some 17's + cash money.
