Has anyone added a cargo to their '99 or older Max? I've seen cargo nets on 2k+ Max's. Can this be done without major butchering?

RE: Cargo Nets...

It can be done pretty easily. Go to any junkyard and buy one (or buy a new universal one if you can), and all you will have to do it stretch it out, pull out the liner pins, and put them back in with the net in between - easy and effective. Just trying to help .

I bought mine from Dave B at Town North Nissan. He's on the board under "DAVEB". Fits like a glove and holds my stuff in for that ahem... spirited driving.

Town North? ummm...

If you are going to buy an OEM part for your Max and you live in the Austin area, then *FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD IN THIS WORLD*... drive up to Round Rock Nissan and buy it there instead. I have 2 cases...

1. called TN about a nose mask (bra), they said $179, and they'd have to order it. Called RR and they said $109 and they had 4 in stock. So I drove to RR.

2. Called TN about a cup for the inside door handle (broke one taking the inside of the door out), they quoted me $9.XX, called RR and they told me $7.XX, I forget exact prices, but I remember it was 2 bucks cheaper. guess what? I drove to RR again! Not just to save $2, but for the sheer principle.

Yeah, I bought my Max from TN, and I regret it cuz I'll bet I could have saved a *great* deal of money if I'd bought from RR instead!!

Yeah that's the place. Dave works in parts there, he gives the best customer service and support I've ever encountered. I didn't shop around much, but I got a similar price to where I've seen otherwise and the service was far superior. I'll pay more to be treated well.
