corner lights-- PLEASE HELP
i have a question - i have a 95 maxima and i bought all hyper white bulbs for the front- i put hyper white bulbs in the corners (or parking lights) and the light is still an orangeish color that comes out but all the other lights are hyper white - i was wondering if anyone knows why this is like this and if you know how to make it a hyper white color
thanks

if not, then did you purchase clear corner lenses? for the front turn signal light and front side marker light?
clearance lights on all the time?

you'd need to rewire the lights to be on the brighter filament. This will make them all match. Do a search, or look in the faq section for directions on how to do this.

If so, I'm not so sure why you'd want to do this. Isn't it distracting to other drivers, having this bright light shining on an angle at your front corners? Personally, I'd think having a separate switch to activate them would be useful--that way you can control when you want them on or off (e.g. bad weather or very dark roads).

Doesn't this rewire essentially make the clearance lights stay on all the time when activating outside lights?

Its gotta be the single most talked about and reasked mod on the ORG today. I seen threads go for miles on how to just do the bulb mod. Yeah, I'd think a switch would be nice. I have a '96 and the corners come on with the signals on mine, so I like it as is. If they're on all the time, its bad for other drivers, and its bad for YOU if its foggy.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but how much did the PIAA corners run you?

I don't think the PIAA's are worth what you will pay for them. I had hyperwhites from some off brand from autotoys.com and they were just as good as the PIAA's but considerably cheaper... Just my opinion....
Allright, how much were they?

Piaa h3 xtreme fogs - worth it
Piaa 1157 xtreme for corners - Very white and bright. I just bought a pair and did the rewire, but it made my headlights (piaa superwhites) look more yellow, so I took them out and rewired the corners back to normal.
So I have a pair of 1157 piaa xtreme lights laying around, anyone interested?
