Help another problem with my brothers car

Ok First the car just kept shutting off by its self

So the dealer replaced the Thermostat, and the radiator (or flushed it)

Now my brother drove the car to school and home with out any problems. After letting it sit for about 2 hours. We can't even start the car. It just cranks and cranks. So I tapped the gas a lil and it starts up. But has a really low idle around 510 ish, I am assuming that this is why the whole engine is shaking and making the car shake. After that i looked back at the tailpipe and saw white smoke coming outta it.

And thats also when the CEL started flashing.

Never ever seen a flashing CEL. I have one on my 98 and its solid (o2 sensor)

Any ideas?

You could be misfiring causing the CEL to flash. White smoke does mean that you are burning coolant tho...

OK and since the 99s have problems with the coils that would cause all this too happen?

So we have to replace the coil pack

Is it bad to have coolant in the oil. I would assume so but its not like the engine gernaded right?

Wow what's up with all these blown headgasket threads?

Do you have coolant in the oil or vice versa? yes that's bad, it's horrible, engine drop & swap time.

OK I took some pictures.
The one on the right is when I took the dipstick out and just whipped it. The one on the left I inserted back and took out again and whipped.

After I did that I saw something neon green in the oil cap. So I whipped that and this is what I saw...

So I am assuming that there is antifreeze in the oil.

Do they have a garage or do they sublet there work? You should go there and be like.......... "listen buddy, the block seal you put in didn't work, give me the car for $1,500 less than what I payed and we'll all be happy"

OK
You were right. Toodles to the headgasket.

Right now the guy is changing out the motor on the car. With another 3.0.

Anything I should check on the car to make sure the install went well when we get the car back?

wouldn't have been THAT bad... I replaced a motor in a 4th gen for $400 all inclusive (fluids, motor, etc). but yeah it's great the dealer did it for him, alot less headache.
