Raced an Audi TT...fast i guess

Merged onto the highway last night and gunned it up to speed like what i usually do...an audi TT races up next to me and cuts me off so I say to myself its on..i gun it next to him im in the middle lane and hes in the right and I fly by him i stay out in front of him for a while and he gets in back of me finally and I throw it into 3rd and flore it and hung with me all the way to about 100 when we had to stop at the light...and the kicker is he stayed in back of me at the light and didnt go next to me...i didnt gun it off the light cause of a cop up ahead...I didnt see what model it was but he did hang with me and didnt go next to me so i coulndt see who was in front at all fun stuff

Do you remeber seeing if the top looked like it was a convertible? The convertibles are the fast twin-turbocharger 225 hp v6s...the others have tiny engine, but ALL of them are stickstift...they're actually pretty fast so you must have raced well .

No TT's have the twin turbo V6, they are all 4 cylinders, the base is a 180 hp model, while the 225 model has a factory dual exhaust.
I don't know how to tell them apart other than the exhaust and the wheels, but that's the only way to tell.

The stock 180hp model runs 0-60 in about 7 seconds, the 225 model runs it in about 6.2. You are correct,they are all stickshift, no autos available.

the 180 and 225 hp models also DO have the EXACT same engine, the only difference is the chip on the 225 boosts the turbo's PSI.

get a 180hp and go with the new chip?

I've been considering the Audi TT for a fun 2nd car. You think it would be more cost effective to go with the 180hp version and just get the chip upgrade?
