I recently changed my air filter about 1.5 month ago and the air filter is already dirty. I got an original Nissan filter. My brother told me that I need to clean my fuel system but not sure if he is right and if there are different types of fuel system cleaning. Does anyone know what my be causing this problem. I have a 95 GXE with 100K miles on it. Runs really well.

Thanks!

1) A clogged Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve will force oily blowby vapors to exit the engine via the rubber tube which normally conveys fresh filtered air to the sump.

2) Worn or broken piston rings can produce such a large volume of blowby that it escapes through the PCV valve and also the rubber tube cited above.

lol!!! Hey Nismo, I like how you blocked out your license plate numbers but you can still read them.

Hey three NISMOs in a row! BTW, contact SYCEFIRO, I believe he has a supply of Cefiro badges.
