my car was shaking at idle at like 400rpm so i cranked it up to 600rpm no more shake but more cai hisses like crazy i know intake make a ssss noise but this is hella loud u can hear it for a far distance people look at me like i have some crazy engine mod or something is wrong with my car any body eles have the same prob?

 

Give it about a week, it get's a lot quieiter once the filter gets a bit dirty.

 

just some more reassurance although chad covered it...it is normal for the hiss noise and it will quiet down to a point where you can only hear when you are closer to the filter..

i have that loud *** hisss noise too, sounds kinda like a super. People always ask me what i have under there. I raise my idle to 800 and its even louder, its been a week and still just as loud.
