When I was trying to install my levoc shift **** I ran into a problem. After I pulled out the original shift ****, I saw a white piece on top of the metal stick. The top of the white piece is slanted like a brand new lipstick. I tried to pull it off with everything I got. That thing is on really tight. Can any of you tell me how to pull it off without breaking it. Thanks all!

you don't take

off the white plastic piece....you put the **** on top of it

this enables the shifting of the gears depressing down to slide up and back over the gears....

DO NOT take that off, that's what enables you to depress the shift button and shift gears. Just pray you didnt damage it already.

Another question

The shift **** came with other accessories and one of them look like a replacement piece for the portion that I was talking about. This is the reason why I wanted to take out the original plastic white piece. The original piece is slanted at the top...while the one that came with the shift **** is flat. Thanks for replying everyone.

Re: Another question

i have a custom shifter but i cut mine low, i did end up cutting off that piece so the **** could sit lower, there was nothing to get it to work properly that came with the **** so finally found a way around it, i have my own piece similar to it but flat on top
