Folks,

Has anyone modified the Tokico Blue shocks to accept the Koni drop-in inserts? I know the stock shocks can be modified to accept the Koni's, but what about the blues?

I would like to hear actual testomonials of people that modified it. Thanx!

Pete M.

Tokico w/ H&Rs (the blues really suck with this combination)

i would also like to know. i hate my tokico's. at first it was great but 3 months after, the front is loose. i wanted the koni's but didn't want to go thru that pain with the fronts but now i know i have to. i drove in another max that has the apex/koni set up and it drove great. i also have the apex springs and i'm glad i didn't take the h&r's springs because they leave a huge gap and don't perform like the apex springs. the worst part is that i threw my old struts away and don't know if i can put the koni's in the tokico's.

apex are softer than eibacks but not as soft as h&r's, the apex springs also lower the car more than both of them. i think they go for around $190 but the retail price is around $279.
