Check engine light came on this morning on my way to work when the light came on the car started to buckle light a 5 speed when you let of the clutch to fast and then stop. Its driving but it feels like its holding back power, any thoughts of what it could be? Thanks

Brian, your Web site makes this assertion: The Maxima's ECU is adaptive. It changes to driving styles, weather, etc. I am unaware of this property. I'm not saying you are wrong, but this is news to me. Can you substantiate this with references to the factory service manual or any similar authoritive source? I'm always eager to learn more.
