AC not working (in the middle of summer! Ack! Help!)
#1
I have a 95 GXE. Whenever I turn on my AC, a slight hissing noise (like air escaping from a balloon) is heard coming from the vents near the windshield. I started noticing this on Friday, two days after I got it back from the dealer who replaced my ignition switch and resurfaced my rotors.
Today, I drove back and forth running errands and I had turned my AC on. It would never get cold, even with the AC turned all the way up. It wasn't even cool... just lukewarm. Everytime I stopped, I checked the AC line (right term?) and there was no condensation. And when I parked, there was no waterspot underneath the car to indicate that the AC was turned on.
Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Yep. According to the responses that I got in the General Forum, I've come to the conclusion that it's most likely that I'm low on freon.
