Jacked up my car, started with the front driver's side rotor and it's stuck. Wont budge. I know that there are 2 additional holes which Im supposed to thread a bolt in which supposedly, will force the rotor loose.

My question is does anyone know what size bolt that needs to be? Ive tried a bunch and I went to Home Depot but nothing seemed to match up.

Any help is appreciated

thanks

You can try to hammer the area between the wheel studs. If you do not plan on keeping the rotors, hammer away at the back of the rotor. My guess for the bolt size would be 8mm. Thread size, I don't know.

Size

If you can get the passenger side rotor off,,, Advance Auto Parts (and the others I'm sure) have size gauges. They're really just a bunch of little bolts on a string that are marked with the bolt size and thread pitch. They usually sell most of the sizes.

Yeah Zack that is a good idea -- try to get one of the rotors off and bring it in to find a correct size bolt. Im positive it is an American and not metric size bolt - Im guessing 8, 9 or 10mm. The only problem is the only 10mm I could find at Home Depot had threads that were too close togehter.

The hammer was one of the first thing I tried, the thing wont budge at all.
