Custom Maxima Hood?!?
#1
I am in desperate need of a custom hood for my Max. I know about the Carbon Fiber Hoodz but I want something different.
Does anyone have one or know of someone who does? I am looking for something similar to the hood on the blue Max in Fast and the Furious. How hard would it be to have one custom made like that? Someone please help.

hmmm, hasnt this same question been asked, even with the same subject heading? i thought so, but well anyway, i think it was reverse mounted and had some of those vent lookin things on it, but ive never seen it, so you would have to do some booby-riggin, and u can have the vents plugged in by a body shop that has that tool, its kinda expensive, also.. jus curious, whats the rush?

I think they do make them in different colors of kevlar but I didnt really care I wanted carbon fiber to match my black car. The hood looks great on a black car cause it doesnt really stick out and look stupid.

Kevlar Hoods
Are the hoods that people are using anything in particular. What I mean is, does it give your car anything other than look? I have yet to see a picture that you can really see it all that well so I wasnt sure even how much different it looked. One picture I seen made it almost see through appearing. Is it lighter than stock also? Just curious at why they are catching on.

Re: Kevlar Hoods
the carbon fiber hood is extremely light and will not dent or crack. If you watch the tests on www.fiberimages.com.
