Whassup Aaron. All I can tell is to upgrade to PIAA bulbs. You saw how bright mine were.

Everyones' thoughts on Yellowstars

Hi All!
I wanted to get all your thoughts on the 85W version of this bulb in the stock housing. I currently have the 55W version and they sucks, I saw Toolrocks car with the 85W version and it looks great!! My only concern is the harness and wiring not being able to handle the increased wattage. Steve has ran them for 2 months and has had no problems and he runs them all the time. Let me know your thoughts and I look forward to upgrading to the 85W version as soon as I get a new housing for the passenger side fog light of my car.
Thanks In Advance!
Jason

55W Opinion ONLY (I do not think 85W is a real good idea):

H3 Fog Lights

Phillips Blue Visions (White, for matching corresponding 9004 Blue Visions): $35/pair
Phillips All-Weather Visions (SLIGHT Yellow tint, more true for fog lights): $35/pair

Available at: http://autooptiks.com/matrix.html

The best white fog lights (better enough to warrant the price difference over the Blue Visions unlike the PIAA 9004 lights)

PIAA Superwhite: $44/pair through carparts.com (20% coupon is available, which would probably be $42 or so after shipping)

This may be crazy...but I'm considering buying some of this lens/bulb paint and then painting the actual fog light lens yellow. I don't know how deep of a yellow I can get out of it but I'd rather run with the stock bulbs and then have them project the light through the yellow lens. Utah's winters can get pretty ugly so I'd prefer to have yellow fogs than white.

Here's the paint:
