Does $170 sound right for a new TPS?
Anybody have instructions on how to install one?

When posting a technical question it is helpful to specify the model year of your Maxima.

AutoZone.com lists Wells TPS476 at $49. Installation instructions may be found in the Chilton repair manual (page 4-18) and the Haynes repair manual (page 6-9).

sorry it's a 97 auto. Is the autozone part just as good as the oem one?
