altezza installation question

guys and gals,
When you are installing the altezza lights, did you have to remove the rubber mounts around the hole to make the altezza lights flush with the body and trunk? Does your light fits in very nicely? and also, does your lights have rubber trim around the whole edge. Mine only have rubber trim in certain area. Any pic is appreciated and thank you for your help.

I took the rubber pieces off of mine, but saved them in case they leaked. They have not leaked at all so I am not worrying about it. If you use them the lights will stick out a bit to far if you ask me. Also, I noticed that you might be able to tighten it down enough to draw the lights closer to the car. I didn't have the nerve to tighten the bolt that tight against the plastic.

i left the rubber on, the outside ones fit flush, the ones on the trunk stick out a little even after tightening the plastic unlike mr. shumax

i did test it and it didnt break it, i wonder why they put plastic in the first place

I went to pep boys and got some sealent and put it on the rubber piece and stuck it on...
