I have looked but cannot find anything other than stillen when it comes to superchargers and cannot find any turbos. Is it just that I'm not looking hard enough, or does none of these companies realized the potential of Maximas and the desire of their owners.

 

makes a custom fabrication turbo thing I believe, but it runs INCREDIBLY expensive, like I think I remember hearing 9+ g's ?

 

These companies know the number of Maximas on the road. They know there aren't enough supercharger buyers for them to break even.

In short, the horsepower potential is there but the profit potential is not.

You and your buds may hunger for more power but the majority of Maxima owners (including Yours Truly) are entirely satisfied with the power made by the stock VQ30DE engine.

 

You can buy it straight from Vortech. I saw an article in the latest car and driver mag. about the different brands. They have 52 applications for what is called the V2 Supercharger. I dont have the phone number or the mag. but it should be online somewhere. It was listed for $3700 for all 52 applications.

You can't order the kit from Vortech, you can order the supercharger directly, but Stillen designed and owns the rights to the kit. So basically, you're paying $3700 for the supercharger and not getting all the stuff it takes to actually put it in the car.
