I have aftermarket pedal covers. On the back of the acceleration pedal there is a metal bracket for the cover, which is sticking out and hitting the plastic piece on the floor. This actually shortens the gas pedal travel a little. I was told by the shop owner that it wouldn't effect acceleration. Is that true? Thanks.

you could adjust it a little so it doesnt lose distance, i have them on mine and i didnt lose any distance, i have the razo pedals, which i also drilled out the holes to mak the pedal lighter bc the weight actually pushed my accelerater just enough that when braking the car would almost "hop" back and forth

Damn! Your pedals are THAT heavy? I didn't have that kind of problem with mine and I didn't drill any holes. There is a metal bracket which holds the cover and I don't think I can adjust it.

are there 4 pieces holdin it on? thats how mine are, you could move them so the pedal sits lower or have the bracket angle to hold it to the pedal instead of gong straight on
