Boost sensor
After I had installed my cold air intake, and removed the ram air duct in the front, I had noticed that I had some type of sensor that was bolted to the ram air duct dangling without a home. What is this sensor for, and does it have to be in a specific place?

I have the same problem
I've noticed that my Maxima has a boost sensor while my friends do not. I don't know what the hell it is, but I know it isn't the temp. sensor because that one was attached to the stock filter box and is now also dangling around with my boost sensor. What the hell is a boost sensor?

I have a boost sensor also on the 'black scoop on top of the grill'. I have a '99 Max..is this only on those Maximas?
Also what is that scoop for anyway?

I wish I knew...but I hope it doesn't affect anything being ziptied to my battery cable
The scoop? heh heh
Dude, if you take off the black duck/scoop, your car will sound a lot louder. When you get an intake, you have to take that black scoop off. I took it off even before I got my CAI, and it sounded badass.
