I have a 99 cali spec GXE (auto) that i NOSed.

The kit i have is the one available from JC Whitney. It is a basic kit for a 3.0L maxima. I bought this back when they started the special for $375 shipped.

I installed my kit. I basically read teh directions untill i understood it and test fitted some parts. I ask a lot of questions. Get your hand on some pics, they are very important. You will spend more time mounting and finding a spot for the soleniods. Its very easy, just take your time.

If you plan on adding a purge kit or bottle heater or window switch, do it all at once. It will save you a lot of time. Trust me.

Well i have been using it for about 3 months or so and have been problem free (knock on wood). I am only using a 50 sshot right now. Its nothing special but more then enough for me. The 50 shot took a full second off my 1/4 mile time. My q-mile time isnt one of those one hit wonders as i have ran this time consistently. 15.5@88--->14.4@96. This is with intake & y. No other go fast mods. So you can see why i am very please wiht the perf. This isnt someting i use all the time but mostly track.

I should also mention that i am using a dry setup. Here are the guys that have helped me with my kit and what they are running. They can also point you in the right direction.

Tony (1MAX2NV) has a 99 like me and he is auto. He is running a wet setup, direct port injection.

Thomas (SX7R) Is a 5 speed 99 max that is runnign a 100 shot. Im sur eyou can tell his perf from his post about his dyno and all his racing videos. Enough said.

Matt (MardigrasMax) was running a dry setup (100 shot) on his 5 speed i think 98? Anyways he is now going on a wet system.

I am planning on getting NOS in about a week

I am just gonna do it on a whim, so I'm gonna call all of my distributors, and see who I can get the cheapest wholesale price from...
Thanks Synki, I appreciate your help
