Anyone know where to get or how to build a pipe to replace the factory crap left behind in between the MAF and the throttle body when you put a stillen intake on?

some one with a CAI should know

the CAI comes with this "gadget"
it is basically just a pipe with pipes protruding out of the main pipe....
I am not sure too much...but it seems like you just need to get yourself some cutting, drilling and welding tools
and the right size pipes...
have fun...

Yeah the cold air system's pipe straight off the engine is more efficent. It doesn't have the air go all over the place. It just goes directly to the engine.

Seems like you could make something out of PVC if you wanted to. You just need the right size pipe, and then someway to connect the two breather hoses. I might try it if I get bored this week.

Nabil did the Place Racing thing. He said it cost him $80. I looked at it for awhile today, and I think it won't be too hard if I can find the right size pipe. I'm getting a Dremel at the end of the week, and if I get a chance I'll try and fabricate something.

plastic

try looking in the yellow pages under plastics or call around to find a plastic manufacturer/wholesaler. When i was in high school we use to get bulk acrylic to make bongs with from a place called acme plastics in north va, a place like this would have what you need.
