97 SE AT Vs. 94 LX AT
Ok... on the way home from work...
theres a one lane expressway type deal well one part of it then moves to 2 lanes and there is a hill--kinda steep... anyhow, I'm drivin along at like 55
and this car kept riding up on my *** and it was pissing me off (I was in the one lane still)
so anyhow we hit the two lanes and start goin up the hill and he in a 97 black se looks over at me and points forward and floors hit... i did the same about 1/4 the way up the hill his *** end was at my fron end but I started catchin up... by the time we got to the top it was vice versa and needless to say when it went back to one lane I was in front of him again... but it was damn close... if it wasnt for the hill I think he would have won... but I have a V8 so I have lots of torque and my tbird loves going up hills without trying lol
well anyhow, makes me think aight... I'll be able to love a 6-cyl.

Yeah but that had the old 5.0L 302 hog in it...
the 94 moved the 4.6L Lite mustang engine...
what I would really love is to take the Lincoln Mark VIII engine and drop it in a max....
4.6L DOHC V8 spittin 290 horses... the Mark had a 0-60 of 6.7 seconds with auto
but RWD and has too many rattle gremlins & Electrical probs...
would love to put that engine in a J
oh well one cant have it all

Those Mark VIII are pretty nice. My brother had a '95 Mark VIII, and we raced a couple times (when my car was stock). He beat me on one run, but I beat him on the next. It's all in the launch when racing one of those.
