Leaking Oil Pressure Sensor/DIY advice?

Hi guys:
I finally figured out why the cables underneath my oil filter have been oily for years. I used to think it was from the oil dumping on them when I originally changed my oil without putting some paper towels over them. Now I see it is the pressure sensor leaking. I seem to remember someone here talking about replacing theirs. Do you use a spark plug wrench to remove it? My service manual says to use a thread sealant. What brand have you used?
Thanks for any help.

Change it during your next oil change. After you drain the oil, just take a deep socket (I forget the size) and swap it out with a new one. Thread sealant is a good idea, but I didnt use it. Dont worry about the brand, it doesnt matter. Get one from the local parts store, should run around $10.

Did you have to jack up the car to get at it? Will all the oil dribble out if I don't drain the oil first?
