I had a problem with my car the other day and people said I should check my fuel filter. I am trying to see if it has ever been replaced on my 97 with 50k on it. The dealer did the 15k and 30k service but all the rest was done at a 10 min oil change place. I found the 15k invoice and it didn't say anything about a fuel filter. I can't find the 30 but I was wondering if they should have replaced it? Anyone know or had it done? Should it be replaced every 15k like it says on CourtesyParts.com?

Thanks, I will just go ahead and change it. They aren't expensive and I really think mine has never been changed.

Therefore, it is possible that your Maxima has been serviced "by the book" for its entire life and is still running with the original fuel filter.
