Painting brakes & Forming dash kit

Anyone got advice/how-to's on painting brakes? How about suggestions for colors on a white 4th gen. SE?
Anyone bend/form a real aluminum dash kit for installation? How did you go about putting it in?
Last but not least (sorry, all I do is ask questions!) is there a way to color/paint the engine? May be the stupidest (dumbest?...whatever) question you've ever heard but I'm curious...
