Am I the only person who sees something wrong?

I feel like I'm in the Twighlight Zone or something. ?? The receipt destinctly said $72, not $55! The shipping and handling can't be ignored! Your friend will not be exempt from this. Also, I am willing to bet the $55 retail is only for Shox.com because they are a high volume seller. Your friend's will be higher. So the cost to us by the time it's done will be much higher than $55. Not trying to be negative, just realistic. Your thread title is very missleading and is totally unconfirmed (A better one might have been "Addco RASB for possibly less than $100"). Sorry, just trying to 'keep it real' and not get false hopes up. Not trying to start any fights. Good luck and no matter what the outcome, thanks for doing this!

Even if the price is $100, it is still less then shox.com. So what are you complaining about? If you can do better then $100, then let us know. If not , then ........

Yes, I did contemplate the same thing when I saw that. Sorry to mislead with the title of post. It was really to catch your attention to read. I knew that there was a shipping fee + $55 but $17 is a bit outrageous.

Hey, at this point I'm hoping for this to happen a lot more than you guys because I didn't think this many of you would respond and I hate to disappoint you all. I can only say that I will try my best to push this through.

I'm in. Good work so far. I am in the market for a rsb so the lowest price will win. In consideration of people pointing out shipping and stuff - Shox may be a high volume dealer but if half of these people posting in this thread are serious, I think your friend would be high volume dealer even if only for a one time shipment. Thanks for thinking of everyone else.
My thinking is this: if shox gets em for 55 + 17 then maybe your friend can get them at 55 or 'close' + 17 to get them to him, then maybe 17 or a little more to get them out to the individuals? I would hope Addco would consider a shipment of 20 or so RSBs to your friend to be bulk. Again, good job + luck!!

OK, now that I have your attention. Someone on a previous thread stated that he got a reseller invoice for his Addco RSB for $55. I asked my friend, that owns a NAPA store, if he would consider looking into becoming a Addco reseller(currently he is not.) He said he will look into it only if there is a good demand for it (ie. at least 15 people) to buy it. He is a pretty busy guy owning and operating three stores so you can see why there must be a need. So how many of you are there interested?

shipping and handling from addco

OK everyone got so caught up on the stupid 17$ shipping and handling.. boys that was for 1 bar.. did you ever think about that? If you order in bulk, handling usually doesn't change, and shipping might be 7$ a bar... so figure they jack handling to 25$ total, and 7$ a bar.... if we get a order for 25 bars (easily - and it would be considered a bulk purchase from addco, I highly doubt cattman is buying more then 25 rsb's at a time... !! ), then do the math

25 bars 1375
shipping +175
handling +25
---------------
total 1575

1575
---- = 63$ a bar... !!
25

Do you all get where I was going with that ? Look at ebay.. you buy a little emblem for your car.... 10$ shipping and handling on the first, 1$ extra per additional item. now yeah a sway bar is going to cost more to ship, but not more then 10 at the most... so you figure that cost, his friend picks up a lil, 70$ a piece to speedy-t, 80$ to us... maybe he charges 90$ and makes 250$ for his time and efforts... ? so what, we are still saving 50$ from the shox priced shipped, correct?

btw, if its under 100$ I'm in.. BEST OF LUCK and THANKS FOR TRYING man, speedy your great! hlh0501@yahoo.com

Addco Update

Hey folks, just wanted to update on this possible deal. I and my friend have not been able to get a hold of the accounts manager at Addco. We have left messages on his voice mail and the receptionist. I don't know what their deal is over there but I hope they sell good products because their administration sucks.

I'm gonna keep on it and keep you guys posted.

When people ship through ups say that your sending it to a business and not a resident... it's cheeper sending a package to a business... I work at UPS but loading the boxes into the car and not at the front register... that is just what the lady at the register told me... and no I dont get any discounts for shipping... and for your people in the anahiem area... If this deal goes through dont blame me if you dont see your rear sway bar... hahaha... just joking...

Count me in also to purchase one of these. Give me the bottom line, cut the check, sign the receipt price. When you comfirm the deal in offically on, I'll Paypal you the funds.

One note, I was just at the Addco website http://www.addco.net/products/datsun-nissan.shtml
and at the bottom of the page it made mention of the following:

NOW! KITS ARE AVAILABLE IN RUBBER OR URETHANE!!
When ordering, please place the letter "U" behind the
three digit stock number to indicate URETHANE BUSHING

Three digit stock number = Kits packed in RUBBER
Three digit stock number and the letter "U" = Kits packed in URETHANE
Three digit stock number and the letter "S" = Kits packed as a COMPETITION

These options appear to be available. Which ones are you getting for the price you mentioned. Can we kick in a little extra cash for better bushings.

Update-Progress

OK folks, the ball is rolling. I just got a hold of Addco and my friend's business fits all requirements. They are sending us all forms to fill out and pricing list of their products by the end of the week.

My buddy at NAPA could not be the reseller because it must be a corporate account not just a local. However, I have another friend that has a body shop, in which he sells paints and all that jazz(BTW he has lots of used 4th gen Maxima parts.) He will be setting this up for me through his shop.

Don't start to get over excited because I don't know what our price will be yet. The guy at Addco would not give me pricing until I had an account with them.

So, it's a start. I keep you all posted.
