OK, now that I have your attention. Someone on a previous thread stated that he got a reseller invoice for his Addco RSB for $55. I asked my friend, that owns a NAPA store, if he would consider looking into becoming a Addco reseller(currently he is not.) He said he will look into it only if there is a good demand for it (ie. at least 15 people) to buy it. He is a pretty busy guy owning and operating three stores so you can see why there must be a need. So how many of you are there interested?

Eeek!! $55? Cattman must be making a killing selling his RSBs! I remember when the Addco RSB first came out three years ago, I paid $140 for it from Cattman.

Including me, is that 3. Keep em coming.

If it is in fact $55, then also include 6.25 sales tax because I will have to buy it then ship to you. He does not want to deal with that part.

Try also posting this in the Group Deals forum.

Too bad I already have an Addco RSB or I'd jump in too.

But I got mine for a really good price too. $100 brand spanking new. It was a one time deal, so don't be asking where I got it from.

I will try to make it as low as possible. I don't plan on making money or anything like that. What ever it cost me to buy (I'll supply receipt if needed) + shipping charges, that's it. Just trying to be part of the parts network, hopefully.

speedy-t, would giving you ordering information help convince your friend that there's enough demand? I'm ready to buy NOW.

I'm glad that the Addco RSB has been selling well.
I was the one who pushed Addco and received their
first production unit a few years ago. I did it b/c
I refused to pay $tillen $50-75 more for their RSB.

Re: i'm in but...

redmaxpa007

Read my original post.

It is not guarranteed on that price just yet. Someone said that was what the "invoice" price was.

I called my buddy and said he has his buyer on it. Kinda funny what he said when I told him how many of you were interested. He said,"Well damn, I didn't thunk thrr wuz that many of yaw. What else yaw need?"(yes, that is the way he sounds, but he is a pretty smart and nice guy.)

Sounds like we might want to discuss getting other things.

So where you think I'm from?

I hate to be a wet blanket but...

... things just aren't adding up here. First of all, the retail purchase price of $55 is unconfirmed. You are getting everyone excited over a $55 price that you 'heard about'. Maybe that is for very high volume sellers like Catman and shox.com only. ? Secondly, and let's just assume your friend can get them for $55, you already told us how busy he is - he's going to order 20+ swaybars and give them to you for his cost? And then you are going to take 20+ swaybars on your own free time, package and place mailing labels on them, pile them all in your car and take them all down to UPS and ship them to 20 different cities but charge us not a penny above what you payed (which is not a penny above what your friend payed)? I'm sorry, I really do hope I'm wrong but it just doesn't add up. Good luck though.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. Also, remember like last week there was someone saying they can get the KYB's for $245 and everyone jumped on the deal and even paypaled the funds but it ended up being the GR-2's instead the AGX and there was a huge fiasco with refunding money.

There's nothing wrong with a group deal for Addco bars. The lower the price the better, but I think a formal post with CONFIRMED purchase information, total price, and contact info should be posted before asking who is interested.

Believe me if you want.....

Hey, I'm not trying to get everyone all sprung for nothing. I sure as hell am hopeful. If I can get it at that price, I'll do what I stated. Not all of us are selfish, capitalist. If it gets too much of a hassle, then I'll stop doing it. Or turn it into a business and charge a little more(most likely not).

Point is, I am only hoping this will materialize like everyone. I'm just sick of getting bent over by all the dealers on stuff.
