Does your brakes become really bad after the car is washed? For some reason, mine are terrible after I wash it. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

It's normal for the brakes to be 'not at 100%' after getting the pads/rotors wet. It should be back at normal after about 3-4 stops though...

My rotors develop a very slight film of rust everytime I wash the car. A couple stops and they are bright and shiny again. Other than some brake noise while scraping off the rust, there is nothing wrong with braking at all.

Actually both things happen. It gets better because the squeels go away for like a day. It gets worse because it takes more effort to stop/slow down the car but after 3-4 stops everything is fine again.
