re: tire pressure

I know this question has been asked many times but I will ask again.... what is the correct tire pressure for a 97 gxe with 16" rims. The center console on the 97 gxe states 29 psi all around but I have the se rims which are supposed to be ~ 32 psi all around - I believe.
What psi will give me the perfect balance between ride quality and handling.
DBM?
Thanks...

As a board, we haven't collectively figured out how Nissan's tire pressure recommendations are calculated. Same-year cars in any trim level have different recommendations. I have a '97 SE with 16" five-stars. My sticker says 29 front, 32 rear.

bump up the front tires pressure several psi and make the car handle more neutral. The lower front psi and higher rear psi makes the car understeer, so if you want the rear end to swing around more smoothly, bump up the front pressure and/or lower the rear.
