POWER SEATS QUESTION?? need info ASAP!!

ok, in about 2weeks i will be buying leather seats from one of my boys
. Hes got a 97 with black leather in mint condition with dual power front seats. Now in my 96 i only have one power seat(driver). So my question is, does the passenger side in my car have the harness tucked away somewhere so i can use his front seats in my car?? Also will the power seat harneses fit from a 96 to a 97???
