Hey guys I just picked up a wire mesh grille insert for my '95 and I was just wondering how should I go about installing it and keeping it intact? Especially for the bottom openings of the front bumper (what i call "the mouth") how can I install and secure?

Thanks for all your help

I think people usually use zip ties. I am not 100% sure though.

I used mechanics wire it works great because it isnt very visible like wire ties. You can get it at most hardware stores or I got mine at a tractor supply store.

I had the same question

If i understood him correctly i think he wanted to know how to put the mesh into the 2 bottom openings. Do you have to take out the plastic or just make a cutout. What are some peoples experience with the mesh

I used zip-ties, but I'm gonna switch it to some wire. As far as the lower opengins go, I think I'm gonna put the mesh behind everything. IMO, I dont think it would look good on the front.

I'll try to get some pics up this week or next.

Tilley,
How'd you place the mesh grill into the two openings near the hood so where it doesn't interfere with the hood release lever. I think I've seen a prior post to take out the original crappy grill.
