Does anyone know a good, relatively inexpensive mod i can do to get rid of this ? its not like its killing me really , cause im only on 130 mph rated tires, but still , im going to upgrade those one day, and i was just wondering if i could get it out of the way now while i am making some money...

SE ECU

I heard of people changing to the SE ECU away from the GXE ECU. I don't know if there are any negative effects.

Or contaqct mzmtg, a member here. He has devised a way to bypass the TCM, and you can drive above your speed limiter, however, I think a consequence is that you lose cruise control.

i think that would probably work , ill ask the dealer soon about that ... i would try the other way , if there is no loss of cruise control.

Here you go:
Speed limiter Removal

No loss of cruise control either. You will get a Check engine light after a while, so I wired in a switch.

The light only comes on after the wire is disconnected for a while, like 15 minutes. If you put a switch on it, then you can turn the limiter on and off when you need to. I doubt you are ever going to need to go over 115 for more than 15 minutes.
